OUR HISTORY
Recoveri is a South African owned and managed company established in 2004.

From humble beginnings, with its primary focus on researching and developing an innovative and technologically superior microtag identification and tracking solution for vehicles and other moveable domestic and corporate assets, Recoveri is now positioned to deliver its smart, flexible identification and tracing tool to the market.

The company was established by a local entrepreneur who spent years researching microdot technology, combining his knowledge with the skills and expertise of local engineers and specialists to develop a truly South African and entirely locally-assembled solution to address the specific needs of local consumers and businesses.

Recoveri subscribes to the principles of broad based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) and complies with BEE codes and legislation on the required measures for share-ownership

OUR PEOPLE
Recoveri is a team of like-minded innovative thinkers who are passionate about the business, its products and what they can deliver. Each team member brings invaluable knowledge and expertise to the business through their many years of technical, financial, insurance and operational experience. Recoveri also has onboard an ex-policeman who has a deep understanding of the criminal mindset in South Africa.

The company is committed to promoting and supporting meaningful broad based empowerment, and actively seeks to provide employment opportunities to marginalised groups, with an emphasis on employing people with mobility impairments.

OUR ALLIANCES
Although already legislated in countries such as the United Kingdom and Russia, microdot technology is still relatively new to South Africa and has only gained acceptance by the relevant authorities from 2005.

The South African Police Service (SAPS); Business Against Crime; the South African Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (SAVRALA); the South African Insurance Association (SAIA); the Vehicle Anti-Crime Steering Committee and Customs Excise have already adopted microdot technology. Recoveri has been in consultation with these bodies and is working with them to drive further acceptance. There is also a growing interest in microdot technology from other industries including the insurance industry and financial services sector. Negotiations are currently underway with leading insurers to offer Recoveri's solution as a value-added product.
